Oleica has signed an agreement with the European Union under phase I of the H2020-EIC-SMEInst-2018 call for the development of the project: OleicaStarter: APPLICATION OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL LACTIC ACID BACTERIA IN LARGE-SCALE FERMENTATION OF SPANISH-STYLE TABLE OLIVES.
The first phase of this project involves marketing OleicaStarter starter cultures at the European level, applying them to other fermented vegetables, and introducing them into new sectors such as pharmaceuticals, given their probiotic potential.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program under grant agreement No. 816561.
